Can I play if I don't have a team?
Yes. The Arena Manager will take your name and place it on the 'players looking for a team' list. Another way to get into the competition would be to organise 5 or 6 of friends/family (male or female) and join as a team.
How many people do I need to make a team?
6 players make a team. These players can be male or female and of any reasonable age remembering that some game can start at 10:15pm. It is usually a good idea to have a 7th player for backup or to substitute with.
How much time does a game take?
Court time is 60 minutes. This includes 10 min warm up followed by 50 min game.
Will I have to umpire any games?
No. All umpiring and scoring is done by the TTGVA qualified umpires.
What costs are involved in playing?
We provide one of the best competitions in Adelaide and at one of the cheapest rates. See Nominations Page for cost details.
I'm a great volleyball player. How do I get into a top team?
Our "A" Grade is our highest competition. However, we can put you in contact with the S.A. League competition (League being the strongest competition in South Australia). Contact our Arena Manager and he will provide you with further information.
I am interested in becoming a referee.
Anyone interested in becoming a TTGVA Official Referee should contact the TTGVA Office for details of vacancies. You will be provided with training sessions. A basic understanding of the rules would help but is not a necessity.
